Wetland-Pond Design and Planting Plan to compensate for Habitat Infringement in Northern BC

Location: Highway 37, Northern British Columbia

Scope of Services:

• Conducted ecological inventories and classification of the existing wetlands
• Conducted environmental impact assessment of the project on wetland habitat
• Documented field results and provided preliminary options for compensation at the site in an options report
• Developed detailed compensation plan, including proposed design for wetland-pond construction, planting areas, and monitoring
• Developed detailed planting plan for wetland pond, including details on species selection, plant sourcing and cost, plant installation, monitoring, and maintenance
