Watercourse Assessment & Classification as part of Development Application

Project Start/End: October 2025

Conducted ecological inventories and classification of existing watercourses
Conducted channel assessment of physical and ecological characteristics to determine fish-habitat capability of the watercourses, including flows, riparian vegetation and potential barriers to fish passage
Documented field results in Assessment Summary Letter and provided a professional opinion as a registered professional biologist (R.P.Bio.) regarding the classification of the watercourses on and adjacent to the property
Illustrated the watercourse-classification results on an orthophoto, based on Part 7A of Surrey’s Zoning Bylaw
